Stopped here to let my toddler play after a long car ride. It's definitely a hidden gym along HWY-12, although really it's super close to the highway The park is very well maintained and kept up. The playground is good for younger toddlers and older kids a like. Only downside is they charge a $5 parking fee on the weekends.
This park has an excellent campground. It's busy during the summer with camping, boating, fishing, swimming and picnicking. The staff is great and very helpful and friendly. The park is clean and well taken care of.
Nice bit of river/lake. Chilly but not too bad. Nice they have a play ground nearby for little kids, (2-7). Overall, would definitely go back.
Great campgrounds and park. Covered picnic area, playground, roped off swimming area, boat launch, and excellent campgrounds. Excellent view of the lake from many of the campsites. Great, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Very clean and well cared for grounds.
Good trout dinner this trip. Two rainbow that my husband caught from his dingy. We missed our usual campfire, state-wide burn ban. Peaceful evenings.
